Monitor for Hack Attacks

We monitor for hacking attacks on a 24/7 basis. When we find brute force attacks we will automatically ban these hackers from your machine and all other 3CX hosted machines.

 

Correct Machine Sizing

Many self hosted systems are deployed on very small systems to save on costs. This will result in poor audio quality, sluggish client performance and even make it hard to deploy certain security fixes. We encounter many machines running on as little as 1 gig memory with one VCPU. This is not sufficient for your critical communications! 3CX deploys a minimum of 2 gig memory and 2VCPU - even for the smallest instances!

 

System Monitoring

3CX features inbuilt alerts that monitor for system health such as disk space warnings, CPU performance issues and many more. But monitoring and sending the alerts is only half the job, someone has to action the alerts and fix the issue. 3CX Hosting team will monitor alerts and take action where possible, 24/7.

 

Hardware Monitoring

In some cases the inevitable happens - a hardware failure. Just to manage expectations, hardware failure is possible with any provider, even the top brands such as Amazon. Not only will 3CX hosting team monitor for potential hardware failures, we will escalate to our hosting provider and attempt to fix on the fly where possible!

 

Email

Although we recommend using your own mail provider for most cases, for the moment we will continue to send out emails for you if you can’t configure M365, Google or a custom mailer. Looking ahead, however, it may become a future requirement for self hosted installs to configure their own email provider. Notice would be given in this regard.
